hello hello hello!! welcome back to da blog and i hope you've been having a fantastic day so far.
so today we're going to be talking a bit about how you can do anything you set your mind to and that you can be brave from simply just trying things.
before we dive in, i want to say that you can read about growth mindset here. and that in order to try new things, you have to have that growth mindset
i'm sure you've heard someone say to you, "it won't hurt to try" or "the worst they can say is no". if nobody has, i'm here to say that to you.truly, the worst someone can say is no, and i'm going to be completely honest, i HATE rejection. so when people say "no" to me i get a kind of sting in my throat.
but that's besides the point. when you put yourself out there and try new things or ask a question, you are being brave. you sort of prepare yourself for possible rejection, and that is a-okay.
by proving to yourself that you can step outside of your comfort zone (read more here!!), you show yourself that you can do hard things. some people prove to themselves that they can do hard things through eating their fear foods, going skydiving, or literally just going to talk to someone new.
every person is different but by doing things you think are hard, you prove to yourself that you can be brave. it doesn't matter if you fail or succeed, what matters is that you prove to yourself that you can do anything that you set your mind to!! from that point forward, you'll keep that growth mindset, which will motivate you to do other hard things.
